Welcome to our new look "What's Hot" letter. We have changed the format and the way we send the newsletter because so many of you have told us that you didn't receive it each week. It was all a bit of mystery as we had the addresses in out address book so with the help of our very clever website designed we are going for a whole new set up!

Beginners Patchwork and Quilting class
Beginners Patchwork and Quilting Class Saturday Class stars tomorrow at 9.30 am It is not too late to join. Just phone or email us.if you would like to come alongWewill have a kit for you for the first day so that you can learn to use the ruler, board and cutter and you will make your first patchwork block in no time at all!! We also give you a lttle talk about how to choose your fabrics so you will finish up with a quilt exactly the way you want it to be. Fee $100.00 Hours 9.30 - 3.00
If the Saturday Class doesn't suit you we have our Tuesday classes which will start on 2nd March Morning 9.30 - 11.30 and Evening 7.00 - 9.00 Fee $100.00
There is no such thing as an Innocent Cat
We have eight more Blocks of the Month spaces for There is no such thing as an Innocent cat. We started this popular Block of the Month again in February and we have eight more spaces left. These cats are easy to make and they are fun!! Once the eyes are made they develop their own personality!
Block of the month runs over 13 months - $57.00 for the first month and $27.00 for the subsequent months

Saturday Sampler 2010
Next Saturday is the first day for Saturday Sampler 2010. This year there are four different selections:- Black and cream feature fabrics with c ream background, Funky Kiwiana i.e. New Zealand Kiwiana feature fabrics with Bright Blue Background, or Customised i.e. Your choice of feature fabrics and background. Fee is $35.00 for the year. You will make nine blocks during the year and in November we will have a Revealing Day when all the blocks will be made ujp into three different quilts. Get in touch with us if you want to know more.
Our fourth selection is called " Textured " All these blocks are made in Calico and each month they will feature a different texture. This month we have made a Chenilled block. We will be making our blocks into cushions each month.
also on Saturday Sampler Day we have Saturday Strippers.
This runs between 8.30 and 9.30. Each month we show you something made using strips of fabrics. This month we will showing you a gorgeous Black and Cream Quilt made compleely made from strips and a Bag called Laurens Bag which is parfially made from strips. You do not need to bring your machine to Strippers - but we love show and tell so we would like to see what you have been making - and there is no charge to come.
