Saturday Strippers and Saturday Sampler this Saturday 5th September

Yes!! We are a week early - we have brought it forward one week this month because we will be at The Craft Fair in Hamilton on our regular Saturday Sampler Day.

This month at strippers we will show you something really cute. - A Pincushion! I am always amazed at the variety of pincushions we see atdifferent classes we have at the shop and this one is no exception! It is a slice of chocolate cake with pink icing.

Can youi beleve you will be receiving Block eight of your Sarturday Sampler this month!  Bloick 9 will be in Octobber and then the revealing day in November!!

Easy Peasey Bag

Another Pattern in our Easy Peasey Series.
When this Japanese fabric arrived in the shop it was just asking to be made into a bag! We took advantage of the mix of spots and stripes and funky cats and made “The Easy Peasey Bag”. You really can make this quilt in an afternoon - all you need is one metre of fabric – that is enough for the outside of the bag, the lining and the handles, add some light weight pellon and light weight iron on Vilene – if you choose the Grommet option you will also need four grommets.
We have kits to make these bags $50.00
We are packaging the pattern in the Easy Peasey pattern –photo and the instructions are written on to double sided A4 page and then laminated – Easy to read, Easy to make and Easy to Store. Easy Peasey patterns are $10.00 each

This table runner features 3D leaves and uses some clever piecing for the jagged pointes at the top and bottom of the runner. Our sample is made in Black and silver –A Kit of fabrics to make this Table Runner in Silver and Black is availabe for $85.00Another great choice would be the Christmas reds and creams with dark cream leaves. Beautifullness!!

This quilt is contemporary, looks great with different colour choices and is easy to make!
For our sample we have chosen a beautiful border print and five other fabrics from the same fabric story called Nicey Jane – but you could change the look completely by choosing a range of two different colours e.g. blacks and creams, a selection of your favourite florals or fabrics from another fabric story
A feature of this quilt is the wide border and we have cut it so that show cases the fabric perfectly.

Bright "Cuddle"

Look at this! Cudle fabrics in bright colours and in different textures. Luxurious!
