Tomorrow we will have Shinichi Kawahara - Clover representative from Japan and our Clover Wholesaler from New Zealand Jo visting us for a Free Clover Demonstation. There is no charge to come but we do need to know you are coming - it your name is not down on our list get in touch with us to let us know you would like to come. I have spoken to shops where Shinichi has visited over the last few days and he has been a great success.

We hope all your Saturday Sampler Blocks are going well!! If you are having any problems with them call in and we will help you. Next Saturday Sampler day we will have a pattern for the Textured Blocks - this will be the first of our cushion series called "Pillow talk"

Queenie and Ruby

The patterns for both of these cats come in the same pattern - There is a photo of Queenie on one side of the pattern and Ruby is on the other side.

We are going to make up these two cats into cushions, but they can be made into wallhangings or you can add more of our cats to these two and make a larger quilt. There are now eighteen cats in this series.

Class with Robyn Alexander

This is a great chance to make this lovely bag and learn lots of new techniques, including Free motion Embroidery, Making Cords, Making drop Pom poms etc. Robyn is providing a kit that includes her exotic hand dyed silks and fibres, braids,fabrics and threads. The kit also includes sequins, beads and some sewing machine threads.

(We are half way through a Saturday Beginners Patchwork and Quilting Class at the moment - which is going very well - it's amazing how quickly all the Sampler Blocks come together)

Rose is an excellent tutor - this is a great class to learn all hand applique techniques. Beginners welcome and we are looking forward to seeing all "Roses Baltimore Groupies" back

A Kittens Tale

This is ten month programme - includes patterns,all the fabric for the front of the quilt (does not include batting or backing) threads and binding. We love the combination of hand stitching and piecing. You can have a portable block to stitch while you are travelling, waiting for a child at sports matches or dancing lessons or sewing at your craft groupl. We have made it up with fabrics from Moda's French General range and a selection of the new Dusty's basic range from Stof.

"The Dusties" fabric club

We are starting a Fabric Club so that you can build up your own gorgeous range of these fabrics. We will post you eight fabrics (fat eighths of each) every month for ten months.

Our first posting will be three reds, three blues and two greens - one fat eighth of each. Just let us know if hyou would prefer fat quarters - the price will be $58.00.
