Friday 25 June - Overlocker "In Store" Promotion Dianne said she has been amazed at everything these new Overlockers can do.!

Husqvarna have recently released two new Overlockers the S21 and the S25 and we would like to extend an invitation for you to attend a Learning Session with our National Educator, Dianne Fussell

With many years experience in the Overlocker Field, Dianne will be guiding you through the often tricky and fearful situations that many may experience. Our sessions are open to all interested parties, from the novice to the exceptionally experienced.

Not only will you be shown techniques that will make your garment look like a masterpiece, but you will also come away with a much more enjoyable overlocker experience.

There is no charge for these sessions.

During our Learning Session you will get the answers to:
• How do I get that Industry Finish?
• What is Differential Feed and how do I use it?
• What are the different methods of applying lace?
• What is the best way to achieve the perfect frill for my dress cushions or evening gown?
• Plus loads more…

There is an afternoon Learning Session, starting at 1.30 - the sessions runs for approximately  2½ hours, and afternoon tea will be  provided.
 

Decorative Bag Class on Saturday 26 June

Dianne will be here again on Saturday to teach you how to make the bag she has designed.  It is a gorgeous bag - the side shown in this photo has free motion quilting - using the yarn couching foot - panel down the middle  - the other side has a panel that has been embroidered with Embroidery Machine.. She has used lots of different stitches on the Husqvana sewing machines on the sides. If the thought of making the panel is just " too much" we will embroider the panels up for you. Our plan is to have the embroidery machine here and we will embroider the panels during the day, so you can choose that option when you come. Although this class is suitable for all Husqvarna Machines, it is perfect for Sapphires and Designer Machines.

Dianne is a great tutor - she is creative and fun - you will have a great day and it also a chance to learn more about your machine and all the clever things in can do.

Cost for this class is $30.00 for the day.

1 meter fine piping cord
Gold metallic couching cord
3 meters gold braid 6 mm wide
1 reel plain thread to match your main colour
1 reel gold or silver metallic thread
1 top stitch 90 needle
1fat quarter gold metallic fabric
20 cm medium weight violene
1 x universal 90 needle.
